Restaurant Medo in Siegburg

Unbelievably delicious authentic Turkish food with beautiful decor & polite waitstaff ! Going there is an experience !!! We gobbled everything & rolled out of there from overeating.... happily.

Good food, very friendly service, confident prices ... End of the day in the "Medo" in Siegburg, the restaurant was recommended to us by friends. The furnishing is in principle quite nice, unfortunately sitting in a cozy atmosphere is destroyed by the bad lighting concept: the much too bright ceiling spotlights convey a slaughterhouse atmosphere rather than coordinated illumination. Too bad. The food is good, the portions average, and given these two factors, the prices are very self-confident. How come back next summer, you should then be able to sit outside very nicely. Today the whole package didn't convince me.

The almost outrageously high prices are in no relation to the quantity and taste of the dishes served. The prices for drinks are also above average. The service is hard-working and friendly. I went there to eat with my family. Guaranteed the last time. It's a shame for the wonderful location.

It's a beautiful place, the water and the wall make it especially special, under the open sky. The food is delicious and the waiters are absolutely friendly. I would like to go again!

Very nice ambience and good food. Major price increase after renovation and change of operator. Longer waiting times at peak times. In case of bad weather and / or weekends, reservations are an advantage

A prime example of a restaurant that constantly wants to expand and improve. If you were there 20 years ago and compare it with today. Unbelievable what was created there. Hats off.

Very good service and high-quality Turkish cuisine. You sit under a roof, but thanks to the large glass doors, you are practically outdoors. Always worth a visit.

Wonderful outside terrace, idyllically located on the edge of downtown Siegburg. A place like in the south. The food is excellent, only the service doesn't really work here. Sometimes it goes smoothly, sometimes we wait almost an hour for our dishes. And you have to make an active effort to reorder drinks.

NEVER AGAIN!!! We (2 people) were at the Medo for the first time today. We arrived around 8pm and ordered quite quickly. When we still hadn't got the food after about 30-40 minutes, we asked. The waiter informed us that it should come at any moment. Another 20 minutes passed so that we had already waited 1 hour for 2 main dishes. Guests who came after us, some of which were larger groups, received their food a few minutes after ordering and had even left the restaurant in the meantime. We asked the waiter again and still nothing happened until after 1.5 hours of waiting we left the restaurant rather angry and starved. Our Friday evening was over ... The only nice thing is the ambience of the restaurant. But that's where it ends.

Food and ambience was very good. There is nothing to complain about. The service was barely available. The drinks glasses were empty for a long time. The table was not cleared. When it comes to health, we didn't really feel safe: Many regular guests walked through the restaurant without face masks. The staff was of little interest. No data was recorded either.

I got it from the internet and wanted to try something new. None of my friends knew the restaurant. Well, we have reserved a table. A restaurant with a nice ambience, but very hidden. The menu was awesome, very high prices. E.g. Side dish fries 4.50 euros It doesn't matter what we ordered, whatever the cost. And now we were very surprised. A great meal, plentifully good and well rounded in taste. Like the food, the staff received a smooth 5 star rating. My recommendation: If you want a nice Mediterranean meal and don't necessarily have to pay attention to the price, then you are in very good hands here. There is ample parking space 100 meters from the restaurant.

The best food in siegburg! we got a really good service from a young man who had just been called to work! the food was cooked to perfection and we sat in the best surroundings. definitely 5 stars from here!

The food is good, but too expensive. The portions are at best to be described as sufficient. The service left a lot to be desired. Orders are forgotten, if you ask for the invoice, you can schedule 30 minutes. The ambience is very appealing, but compared to the price / performance ratio, a visit is not recommended

Beautiful restaurant with a large outdoor area right on the Mühlengraben in Siegburg. The atmosphere and the food were excellent. There is Mediterranean cuisine that can be assigned to the Greeks and Turks. There were 4 of us and everyone thought it was delicious. There are only 2 vegetarian dishes on the menu, which I didn't find disturbing.

The ambience and the interior, as well as the whole place are really very nice. Unfortunately the food is not according to the price, there are many restaurants with more reasonable prices and better quality of food. The staff is really friendly, but that is of no use if you have to wait 45 minutes for your drink, the nice smile when you remember the ordered drinks cannot quench your thirst. We also waited over 20 minutes for the bill, there were really only a few tables so that the waiting times are not due to a busy restaurant.

I love this restaurant, Mediterranean flair, great dishes with fantastic quality. The service is professional, friendly and very accommodating. The food was always delicious. Great menu that leaves nothing to be desired. Price performance absolutely fair! Highly recommended

Great restaurant in the area. Good wines, good foods. The waitress there speak some English, but they were friendly and served you with big smiles. Highly recommend.

Excellent Food

German service is often bad, but this restaurant service from the personel is the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. - 2 starters was forgotten, cam 30 min late - half of the tables main course was forgotten and the order has to be taken again after firt half of table had there maincourse for 35 min - 1 person was drained by beer as the waitress dropp two beers on him. And we haven't got through the main course yet. It doesn't get any worse than this, anywhere in the world.
